Pumpkin shaped Deviled Eggs

This holiday season serve your guests a vegetable tray in a fun new way, as a Christmas Tree!! Your guests can dip the vegetables into the Palmetto Cheese "garland" on the tree for a tasty treat.

Feel free to use whatever vegetables you like! Radishes and mushrooms would be great ornaments too.

Pumpkin shaped Deviled Eggs


  • 6 Tablespoons Palmetto Cheese, Original, Jalapeno or Bacon
  • 6 eggs, hard boiled
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika (plus more to sprinkle)
  • Green Pepper or Chives


  1. Cut hard boiled eggs in half, remove yolks and place into a bowl.
  2. Place egg whites onto a serving dish.
  3. Mash yolks with a fork until fine.
  4. Add mayo, Palmetto Cheese, and paprika and mix until thoroughly incorporated together. Scoop mixture into a pastry bag or gallon-size food storage bag with one small corner cut off. Pipe mixture onto egg whites into a circular pumpkin shape.
  5. With a toothpick, make vertical lines onto the egg mixture to resemble the lines on a pumpkin.
  6. Garnish with a little southern sprinkle of paprika and a stem made out of a small piece of a chive or a green pepper cut into small matchstick size piece.
