Jalapeno Bacon Macaroni and Cheese

Palmetto Macaroni and Cheese


  • 1 pound macaroni
  • 12 oz Palmetto Cheese with Jalapenos
  • 6 oz. Bacon, chopped
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • salt and pepper
  • Jalapeno slices


  1. Cook macaroni in boiling water for approximately 12 minutes or until pasta is tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, cook bacon until it starts to brown. Stir in the floor and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add milk and stir. Continue to stir until the mixture has thickened. Stirring will prevent the milk from scorching on the bottom of the pan.
  4. Once thickened, add 1 cup of Palmetto Pimento Cheese and remove from the heat. Stir until combined.
  5. Add macaroni to the sauce and stir. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Pour into a 9x13 pan. Spoon remaining Palmetto Cheese over the top and place as many slices of jalapenos as you like.
  7. Bake at 350F for 25 minutes.
