pimento cheese crepes The pies can be stuffed with Original, Jalapeno or Bacon Palmetto Cheese. You can add whatever filling you want to the pie, just don't overstuff it and always make sure your edges are sealed.

Ingredients
1 can flaky biscuit dough - any brand you like. We used Pillsbury Grands Jr
1 tub Palmetto Cheese
Water
Oil for frying

Directions: In a frying pan or cast iron skillet, put in enough oil to give yourself 1/2 inch of oil. Bring to 350 degrees. While you're waiting for that to heat up, let's start on the pies.

On a floured surface, roll out the individual biscuit dough into a six inch round. It's easiest to roll all of your dough out at once if you plan on making the whole can. Sprinkle a little flour on the rounds when you stack them so they don't stick together.

pimento cheese crepes Time to assemble: Put a tablespoon of Palmeto Cheese slightly off centered on your dough round. With your finger, wet the outer ring of the dough with water. This will help the edges to seal. Fold one end over top of the pimento cheese and press down. With a fork, press down around the edges to seal tightly. If you have a lot of dough around the edge it can be folded up and then pressed down with a fork, just like a pie crust.

Place your completed pie in the oil and fry until golden brown on both sides. The dough is thin, so it won't take very long to cook. Once the pie is golden brown, take it out of the oil and place on a paper towel to soak up excess oil.
