Palmetto Cheese Stuffed Meatloaf
Ingredients:
2 pounds of ground beef or turkey
1 tub Palmetto Cheese
1 egg
3/4 cup BBQ sauce
1 cup quick oats
Italian seasonings
salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 375F
Place 2 pounds of ground beef into a mixing bowl. Add 1 egg, BBQ Sauce, quick oats, italian seasonings, salt and pepper to taste. On a sheet pan or casserole dish place 2/3 of your meat mixture. Form your meatloaf, creating a well in the middle so you can place the Palmetto Cheese. Add your Palmetto Cheese to the well you created in the center of the meatloaf, press into place. Using half of the remaining meat mixture, cover the cheese layer. It's easier to do half of the meatloaf at a time. With the remaining meat, cover the other half of the meatloaf. Make sure to seal all edges of your meatloaf so the cheese will not run out. Cover the meatloaf with 1 cup of BBQ sauce or ketchup if you prefer. Bake for 60 minutes or until internal temp of 165F is reached. Let meatloaf stand for 10 minutes before serving.
